Fire Alarm Engineer

Fire alarm Engineer could mean a Fire Alarm installation Engineer or Fire Alarm service Engineer and the range of titles could include Fire Systems Engineer, Fire Service Engineer, Fire Installation Engineer, Fire Engineer or Fire and Security Engineer if work on Electronic Security systems as well.

Fire Detection is the Industry which encompasses Electronic Fire Alarm systems and systems that detect Flame, Smoke, Heat and the detectors and Panels that control them need regular maintenance, service and in the 1st place Installation and Commissioning, and we supply these skilled Fire Alarm Engineers to companies across the UK who are expanding or improving their workforce. Many Fire Alarm Engineers would have BS5839 Training, FIA (Fire Industry Association), BFPSA qualifications and also have a City and Guilds 236, 2391 or JIB Electrical 16th or 17th Edition qualifications.

The general term of Fire Engineer (like Security Engineer) can mean many other thinks and usually relates to people who Risk assess or do high level consultancy and these are not the areas we work in as our clients seek engineering and Fire Detection rather than Fire Protection focused people.
