We focus on the UK and need people with UK Fire and Security and seek Electrical, Electronic background candidates mostly who work in Electronic Security (CCTV Cameras, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, door entry) and Fire Detection (Fire Alarm, Fire Systems, Addressable Fire Alarms).

We deal in 2 major markets and specialise so our candidates and clients come from the Electronic and Electrical sides of Fire and Security, not IT.

Security Engineer
Security Engineer is a broad title that can encompass many markets such as IT, Mechanical, but we at Fire and Security Careers focus on Electronic Security Engineers, Service Engineers with CCTV, IP CCTV, Intruder, Burglar Alarms, Access Control, Door entry, Integrated Security (Networked Security). Our clients sometimes look for people with just one of these skills so offer roles for Alarm Engineers, or CCTV Engineer, or Access Control Engineer and sometimes combine the technical needs as they work on multiple systems at one site so could seek Integrated Security Engineer. Often we seek Service Engineers who have skills such as Fault finding at the top level and Maintenance at the basic level, and also we seek Security Installation Engineers and Security Commissioning Engineers who put the systems in and then check, program and ensure they work before serviced

When people work on multiple Electronic Security Systems and using IT skills, they can be called Networked Security Engineers or Integrated Security engineers who would be setting up IP addresses to identify remote or large volumes of cameras or doors on a system and network them centrally.
